Hull thinks 'terrible' Anaheim is done
Brett Hull, one foot in the crease and the other lodged in his mouth, repeatedly called Anaheim "terrible" while it was defeating the Red Wings on Sunday and moving into position to win the Western Conference championship tonight. According to Hull, Anaheim was terrible and the Red Wings will easily win tonight and prevail in a seventh game at Joe Louis Arena -- where Anaheim is 2-1 in this series.

Horton changes mind about Panthers?
It was only in February that right wing Nathan Horton was unhappy with Florida and reportedly wanted out. His agent, Paul Krapelka, was said to be searching for teams that might extend an offer sheet this summer that the Panthers would be unwilling to match. But when he made an appearance at a team function last week, Horton brought with him a fresh outlook and a maturity that has often been lacking.

Penguins' general manager Ray Shero expects progress on deals for Mark Recchi and Gary Roberts "soon," and probably will explore a contract extension with coach Michel Therrien.

Julien Due for Apology From Devils GM
It's time for the Devils GM with the itchy firing finger to put up, or apologize to Claude Julien. It's time for Lou Lamoriello to do the coaching he appointed himself to do. One option would be to break up the Devils' top line and paste Patrik Elias on Vincent Lecavalier, and perhaps sic John Madden on Martin St. Louis, moving Jay Pandolfo alongside Scott Gomez.
