Good morning, all.  Well I had my PR guys keeping an eye on the number of hits each one of my blogs recieved.  It was very surprising to them and myself to discover that the post titled "An idiotic rant you probably shouldn't read" got the most views despite that it was the insane ramblings of an overworked moron.  And since I am again overworked I decided to give it a second try.  Here we go:

Lets start with the White Sox, where my  mind always wanders this time of year.  The rotation is set, the lineup will have a leadoff man, and everything seems to be progressing nicely.  The questions abound however in the starting rotation.  Was last year an off year for Buerhle or a sign of things to come?  How old is Contreras and will he show it this year?  Can Garland be an Ace?  Can Vazquez make it to the 6th inning?  Isn't it Ironic that a guy named Dank(s) replaces Freddy "Bong hit" Garcia in the Rotation?  Is Dank(s) going to be able to pitch at a high enough (snicker) level?  If you were looking for an answer to these questions read another blog, I'm not that deep.

Onward to the madness that is March.

Yes the Four is set.  And my great cinderella pick didn't weigh out.  Who thought that SIU wasn't going to make the Final four?  I mean sure, they were the smallest team in the 16, they have no future NBA players, they're a midmajor, and they had to play a one just to reach the elite 8.  But... well... I went there... for two years.  All the hate in my heart is now squared directly at Kansas.

Here you go, free of charge, the accurate and right predictions for the final Four:

Georgetown 84, OSU 73

Florida 80, UCLA 77

Georgetown 73, Florida 68

Go to Vegas.

Before I leave my brief trip to college basketballland let me just say that Dick Vitale is easily the second most annoying man in basketball right now (Bill Walton being the first).  His voice makes me want to drive a rivet through my skull and tie each of my ears to semi-trucks going in different directions, BABY!

Just to let all the Bears fans know I've given Lance Briggs a complete psycological overview and discovered that, although incredibly talented and very in game savvy, he's acting like a b-i-t-c-h.  Shut up and play.  Seven million dollars for 16 games?  Pardon me if I don't shed a tear over your attempt to get a long term contract.

Drafts are coming up in the NFL and eventually the NBA.  Question of the day:  Who can accurately pick how the New York teams will screw them up?

And to my friend, Chargers07-- wait my friend Chargers08SBChamps:  Yes, the Bears and the Chargers play this year, and yes I'm game for yet another bet.  Here we go, winner wears the opposing teams jersey in their profile (player to be named by victor), and beyond that EVERY game that year, the loser will wear the same jersey.  An honor bet.  A tough bet for any man who calls himself a true fan of a team.

April 2 begins another wonderful season of baseball.  I have decided somethings about our beloved pastime that hold true.  The commissioner will always be a tool.  The Designated hitter is still a joke (YAY JIM THOME!!!).  Pitchers hitting is a joke (except Carlos Zambrano is pretty good).  The Yankees will make the playoffs or deplete their farm system trying.  The Cubs won't make the playoffs but will still deplete their farm system for fun.  The Red Sox only identity was the curse and now they are lost trying to recapture the aura that Red Sox nation once held.  Wait 80 years and you'll have something to hang your hats on again.

The world of synchronized swimming is starting to heat up.  Russian pairs swimmer Claudia Klytchkeyo has torn her hamstring and likely will be out for 3-4 weeks.  It was announced that her and her partner will withdraw from the Russian nationals due to the injury but it is likely the two favorites will petition the committee for a spot on the national team.  Meanwhile Americans are too fat.

News out of Chicago... No there is no NHL franchise in Chicago, however the Chicago Wolves of the AHL play in neighboring Rosemont Illinois at the Allstate Arena with the AFL Champion Chicago Rush.  (I can now check off NHL in the categories box)

Isn't anyone else sick of Florida? BCS Champs this year (NCAA Football: CHECK), last years NCAA tourney champs, and back in the final four.  Time to legalize the poaching of gators I think.  How much would it cost to skin and stuff Joakim Noah?

Bold predictions of the Year:

Isiah Thomas: GM of the Year

Isiah Thomas: Coach of the Year

Rex Grossman: NFL MVP

Roger Clemens: Juiced

Tampa Bay Devil Rays:  World series Champions

Cinncinati Bengals: 0 arrests

Proffessional Sports athletes:  Only 45,987 arrests!

Ok, well my dribble is done for the day.  Take it, thats all, just take it.
