The Blue Devils will go undefeated for the regular season if they beat the rival Tar Heels this week.
2. Tennessee - 25-2, 12-0 SEC
Candace Parker is the best player in the nation without a question. Please no questions on whom the best player in the nation is.
3. Connecticut - 25-2, 14-0 Big East
The Lady Huskies have the 4th best field goal percentage in the nation at just under 50 percent.
4. North Carolina - 26-2, 10-2 ACC
The Tar Heels have the number one scoring offense in the nation averaging just less than 87 points per game
5. Ohio State - 24-2, 13-1 Big Ten
Before the loss to Michigan State they had won 17 games in a row.
6. Maryland - 25-4, 9-4 ACC
Maryland has lost 4 games and twice against the Blue Devils.
7. George Washington - 23-2, 12-0 A 10
The Colonials are looking to go undefeated for the first time ever in Atlantic 10 play.
8. Arizona State - 25-3, 15-2 Pac-10
The Sun Devils have the fifth best field goal percentage in the nation at 48 percent.

Jayne Appel averaged 23 points and 17 rebound per game this week in victories over Oregon and Oregon State

With the Tigers losing against Tennessee it more than guarantees they will not be a number one seed for the tournament.
11. Vanderbilt - 23-4, 9-3 SEC
Games against Tennessee and LSU don't always end on a high note.

The game winning shot by Jenna Plumley over Texas Tech kept the Sooners in first place in the Big 12.

The Bulldogs are thinking national championship with a 4-3 record against top 25 teams.

Sharon Versyp has done a tremendous job with this young Boilermaker squad and will be Coach of the Year in the Big 10.

The Falcons have won 18 in a row, but have not defeated a top 25 team all season.
17. Middle Tennessee State - 24-3, 16-0 S. Belt E
Chrissy Givens is number 10 in the nation in scoring averaging just less than 22 points a game.
18. Texas A&M - 20-5, 10-3 Big 12
Just like the Men's team these Aggies are in the running to be Big 12 Champs.
19. Marquette - 22-5, 10-4 Big East
After losing to Connecticut and Rutgers the Golden Eagles have won 4 games in a row and are hot heading into the Big East Tournament.
20. Michigan State - 21-6, 12-2 Big Ten
The Spartans have two wins over top 25 teams in there last 4 games and now have a shot at the Big 10 crown.
21. Rutgers - 18-7, 11-3 Big East
Essence Carson has averaged 14 points and 9 rebounds per game in the last 3 Scarlet Knight victories.
22. Louisville - 23-5, 9-5 Big East
The women's team is doing the exact opposite of the men's team. The men have won 5 in a row and the ladies have lost 3 out of their last 5.
23. Wisconsin Green Bay - 21-3, 12-0 Horizon
The Phoenix are outscoring their opponents by 15 points per game.
24. James Madison - 24-2, 15-0 CAA
The Dukes are undefeated in conference play and have won 15 games in a row.
25. California - 20-7, 10-6 Pac-10
The Golden Bears victory over Oregon State gave them 20 wins and an NCCA Tournament birth.
